First days of 1st Class!

Welcome to our class blog. We are the Superstars of Room 13! We've all been settling in really well into 1st Class and working very hard. It has taken us a bit of time to get used to the longer days and more challenging work, but we know if we keep trying our best everyday, we will do just great!

In September, we spent a lot of time getting to know each other and telling others about ourselves.
We learned about a famous artist called Pablo Picasso. He painted very colourful and funny portraits. He inspired us to do make our own self-portraits using oil pastels.

We also learned about Primary Colours and how we can make so many colours from just blue, red and yellow! Some of us got to squirt two colours into a ziplock bag and squished and squelched it around to see which new colour it made! It was lots of fun.
We all then created a colour wheel to learn which two primary colours made secondary colours!
